Era così seducente il suo sguardo, perso nel mio, che per un attimo pernsai di trovarmi di fronte al vero Edward...quello che non doveva trattenersi...
Mi guardò cosi, per molto, sorridendo...
Le mie parole dovevano averlo fatto riflettere, ma sapeva benissimo che erano vere, anche se non poteva leggermi la mente...tutto il mio viso, libro aperto delle mie emozioni, gridava il mio sentimento.

Mi alzai, a malincuore, insieme a Edward e mentre lui si riabbottonava la camicia, fissai il paesaggio intorno a noi.
Un bellissimo tramonto sovrastava le cime degli alberi secolari, e avrei davvero voluto rimanere abbracciata ad Edward ad adorarne la bellezza...ma purtroppo il coprifuoco era sempre il coprifuoco....
